Service level agreements

A number of service level agreements (SLAs) already exist between the three EU Agencies, which concern the agencies’ day-to-day operational support for coast guard functions:

  1. EFCA and EMSA SLA (2012): Provides integrated maritime services, access to EMSA vessels and RPAS for fisheries monitoring, and pollution response; renewed annually.
  2. EMSA and Frontex SLA (2013): Supports EUROSUR with maritime services and Frontex's use of EMSA RPAS for border control; indefinite duration.
  3. EFCA and Frontex: Covers aerial surveillance and offshore patrol vessel (OPV) deployment for EFCA; renewed annually.
  4. EFCA and Frontex SLA for Border Surveillance: Supports EUROSUR with border surveillance services; renewed annually and updated regularly.
